Primepoint raised $10M seed funding led by Navitas Capital and Penny Jar Capital to expand its AI construction platform that links drawings, schedules, specifications and documents using a knowledge graph reducing errors rework and manual coordination while improving visibility for contractors as it scales adoption across large commercial projects globally.

Construction sustainability barriers can be overcome by treating carbon as a cost driver, improving early design decisions, and setting clear procurement rules. Key challenges include poor data, supply chain limits, and contract structures that reward lowest cost, with success relying on simpler standards, better reporting, and stronger on-site capability.

 

A study published in Scientific Reports finds bio-based retrofitting using circular economy and LCA frameworks can reduce emissions, improve circularity, and lower costs in heritage buildings. Research across Middle East case studies shows significant lifecycle carbon reductions and better sustainability outcomes for construction and heritage conservation projects.
